Bereavement & Trauma Counselling
A compassionate space to honour grief, hold pain, and gently support healing
Grief can feel overwhelming, disorienting, or hard to name. Whether you’re mourning the death of someone close, adjusting to a life transition, or grieving something less tangible, you don’t have to carry it alone. There’s no right way to grieve—only your way.
What is Bereavement Counselling?
Bereavement counselling offers a gentle space to be with whatever is present for you—grief, anger, confusion, numbness, or even moments of relief. There’s no right way to feel, and no timeline to follow. These sessions move at your pace, shaped by what feels most supportive. You’re welcome to come on your own, as a couple, or with a family member if it feels supportive for your healing. Together, we’ll explore what your loss means for you—gently tending to pain, making space for your emotions, and helping you find meaning in the midst of it. Grief work isn’t about “moving on” or letting go; it’s about continuing the bond in a new way, honouring what was, and creating space for what still matters, even when the person or thing is no longer physically present.

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the “right” words or know exactly how you’re feeling. There’s no expectation in this space — we’ll gently explore whatever is showing up for you, even if that’s confusion or silence. Your pace, your comfort, your voice (or quiet) is respected here.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply need a space to talk, bereavement counselling can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit; sometimes having a space to feel, process, and reflect with someone who understands can make all the difference.
There’s no set timeline. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll work at your pace, regularly checking in to make sure the support feels right for you. There’s no pressure — you get to decide what you need.
