About Us
My Journey into Counselling
Professionally, I’ve been fortunate to work in deeply meaningful settings, including the Coroners Court of Victoria, Griefline, Lifeline, Grief Australia, and Relationships Australia. These experiences have deepened my understanding of grief, trauma, and connection, and continue to shape the way I show up in the therapy room. To hold space for others as they share their story is an honour I don’t take lightly. It’s what keeps me grounded in this work and reminds me daily of the strength it takes to be vulnerable.
My Approach
At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I work relationally and at depth, with a focus on emotional safety, curiosity, and care. Whether we’re working through long-standing patterns, navigating relationship challenges, or sitting with grief, I offer a grounded, warm presence as we gently explore what’s unfolding beneath the surface.
My approach is interactive and evidence-based, drawing on models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Family Systems Theory, and Psychodynamic Therapy. These frameworks support the therapeutic process, but the heart of the work lies in our relationship—how we make sense of things together, how we attune to emotion, and how we begin to shape new ways of being.
The Power of Vulnerability
Over time, I’ve come to believe that vulnerability is one of the most courageous acts we can offer—both to ourselves and to those we love. It asks us to soften where we’ve been protecting, to stay open in the face of fear, and to let ourselves be fully known.
Therapy is a space where vulnerability is met with care. A space where your experiences are honoured, your defences understood, and your longings heard. Whether you’re coming as an individual, couple, or family, our work together will be shaped by compassion, honesty, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth.
This is a space for real conversations, meaningful change, and finding your way back to what matters most.
